Another example of this pattern is reproduced in Haemmerle, albeit without color, as part of the sample card produced by Alois Dessauer in Aschaffenburg in 1840, p. 167 (see patterns #3, 16, and 20). In the original sample book the pattern appears many times in multiple colorways and styles—f. 32 #11, 19, 24; f. 33 #15, 34, 44, 48; f. 57 #7, 17; f. 58 #32, 52, 59, 69, etc.—and while none are an exact match for this wrapper, the palette is well represented in several other designs.
