Binding:
“Half” parchment binding with gold-tooled parchment spine, plain paper corners, and blockprinted paper over boards. All pink sponged textblock edges.
Paper:
Two-color blockprint: grey-black diaper/grid with red four-petal daisy fills

Collector's Notes:
The pattern is nearly identical to that of 26.047. Evidence of pink coloring on spine and corner covering, now mostly faded, is present on the parchment turn-ins and underneath the blockprinted covering paper.
This is also the earliest half binding (spine and corners) in the collection, and the use of parchment for this style might be a forerunner.
