Collector's Notes:
The red brocade paper is signed near the bottom: [M]UNCK A V (possibly the beginning of AVGSPURG, where the Munck family is known to have operated, or A[UGUSTAE] V[INDELICORUM], the latinization of that city). The green paper on the spine has possible attribution covered by red paper, and is also reproduced in a different colorway in P.J.M. Marks, pp. 112-113, where it is tentatively attributed to both Simon Haichele and, later, Johann Carl Munck.
