Collector's Notes:
At least three titles bound together, second dated 1647, third dated 1800. A design similar to the purple floral pattern on the inner box rim is shown in the two-color print held at The MET (Object Number: 39.13.265), and as part of the late 18th c. Bertinazzi sample book reproduced in Kopylov's 'Papiers Dominotés Italiens' (see examples #26, p. 323 and #346, p.371).
The base pattern for the yellow fern design at the bottom of the box resembles that of the endpapers on 24.034 with a different fill and colorway.
