Note stylistic similarity to 24.031 and the papers reproduced in Heijbroek and Greven's Sierpapier (p. 69) and in Haemmerle (p. 145).


Also note the endpapers on the 1774 Nurnberg text pictured below, which features both a copy of this design (hinge patches) and an extraordinary pear-focused variant, ostensibly by the same artist (pastedowns and made flyleaves). Thanks to C. de O.C. for permission to share photos of their book.
